Well, here I am making my first post! I'm a little nervous yet excited at the same time! Funny how you can have two emotions going on at the same time, don't you think? It's like when people say they've experienced something or an event which was "bittersweet". I can totally understand being sad yet have the feeling of being happy mixed in there at the same time. I know the "professionals" tell you it's impossible to have two emotions at the same time...but do you know what???? I don't care what they say...I listen to my heart. For years it's been leading me in the right direction. So, with that said...here I am, writing my first blog post on my new blog!
I'm hoping to get to meet a lot of wonderful people through this blog and have the chance to share some of the things in life that we all seem to experience but for some reason....don't take the time to share them with others. You might even find while visiting here on my blog your interested in things going on which you never thought you'd be interested in! You never know...never say never, my mother used to say.
If you've taken the time to stop in and look around (I've really just started putting my blog together), say hello and tell me a little bit about yourself. I'm sure you're going to enjoy making some fun friendships here with some of the "girlfriends" I've already had the opportunity to have met on the journey of my life. So...say hello, share where you are from, maybe tell us a few of your hobbies or something else you'd like to share and we'll all start getting to know each other! Have a wonderful day! Don't be shy!   ~ Doreen ~

  1. Hi Doreen, so glad you're blogging! Looking forward to reading more posts from you! The weather up here in NY has been beautiful...getting a lot done in the yard. I've been busy getting some vegetables and flowers planted...can't wait for the first tomatoes to come up!

  2. So happy you found your way here Janet! I'm hoping to share so fun and inspirational times on my blog. One of the nice things about living in Florida is that we always have freshly grown veggies. I can remember when I lived in Upstate NY by the end over winter I was almost ready to kill for a homegrown tomato. I thing when you grow your own or you have one that is freshly picked there is a totally different taste to them. Just knowing that it came from your own garden and that you nurtured it into existence makes it taste all the more delicious! Gotta love those bacon, lettuce and mater sandwiches!!!!! Thanks for stopping in!

  5. Congratulations Doreen! The first step is always the hardest, so now you are officially a Blogger! Yay! I'm afraid my three blogs are very lapsed and I really should get back on to them as I love writing too. Good luck with this and I'm really looking forward to seeing your new entries.
Hugs from Across The Pond, Deb
